America: Now, Here (art starts conversations post-9/11)

America: Now, Here

The premise is simple: art can start conversations and we need conversations about being America now, conversations not debates about binary options.  150 "national" artists who work in a variety of media including words and music have assembled a traveling exhibit.

(One project is a long poem composed 10-lines at a time by a long list of poets well loved.)

At local sites, local/regional artists are added.  The web-site is appealing and information.  I imagine that attending the exhibit is even more so!  Right now it is in Kansas City, so if you are too, make time to go.  If you are not, wander through the on-line offerings.
